“Chiar dacă va sta puţin, prezenţa sa îi va inspira pe jucători, pentru că rareori se întîmplă să se întîlnească aici cu asemenea mari jucători ai erei moderne. Pe termen lung, ne va ajuta să ne facem relaţii în afara Australiei”, a declarat antrenorul echipei australiene, Ange Postecoglou.

Patrick Kluivert se va concentra in principal pe atacantii clubului australian.El va indeplini si functia de ambasador oficial al A-League in tarile din Oceania.

Patrick Stephan Kluivert a fost format la celebra academie a echipei Ajax Amsterdam,a debutat si a jucat  3 sezoane pentru ”lancieri” marcand golul victoriei cu Milan in finala Champions League din 1994 ,s-a transferat la Milan pentru un sezon,apoi a facut istorie la Barcelona.Kluivert a marcat 120 de goluri in cei 6 ani petrecuti pe Camp Nou,apoi a jucat cate un sezon la Newcastle,Valencia,PSV si Lille.Cu PSV a castigat campionatul in 2007,iar in sezonul trecut s-a ocupat de pregatirea atacantilor la campioana AZ Alkmaar.
